So, this post will let you know how you can download Youtube videos for free and without use of any softwares.
First of all, choose and open the video you want to download. For e.g. I m using the 'VFX Reel by Dhaval Mistry'.
Now, visit the site www.keepvid.com in new tab or new window of browser. The home page is displayed as given below.
Now, copy the URL of the Youtube video and just paste it in the "ENTER THE URL" box. For e.g. I'm using http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBTc2zLEG94. And hit DOWNLOAD.
If asked for any permission about Java or anything else, just clisk on 'Run This Time' (or 'Always Run On This Site' if you don't want to be asked ever in future).
Now, you will be displayed with different formats (MP3, MP4, FLV, 3GP, WebM, etc.) and prints (240p, 360p, 480p, 720p (HD), 1080p (HD), etc.) as shown in picture below.
Click on the format with suitable print in which you would like to download your video and you're done.
